SMALL BUSINESS ADVERTISEMENT
Background
Air Ad Promotions is a small business advertisement and printing company. I began working for Air Ad in 2019 and although my duties have shifted, I continue this work today. I started off working as a graphic designer and my main responsibility was to create flag advertisements and store mockups for potential clients. As my role expanded, I created vinyl wall graphics, marketing brochures, yard signs and more. Recently, I decided to move on from Air Ad as a graphic designer. However, I returned when they contracted me to write them a Photoshop automation program which is currently in development.
Adversail Flag Design
Air Ad’s most popular advertisement products are the Adversail flags pictured on the right. As part of my first role at Air Ad, I would design these flags and mock them up on an image of the business. Examples of these mockups are featured below.
Versa-Wall Social Distancing Dividers
When COVID hit, Air Ad was forced to shift their priorities to meet the needs of the businesses they served. As part of this initiative, I worked with management to design and build these social distancing dividers. I also helped create product branding and marketing materials like the client brochure featured below.
Vinyl wraps Custom advertisement
Later in my Air Ad career, I began working one-on-one with clients to produce custom advertising material like wall graphics and vinyl wraps. Projects like this Retro Fitness vinyl wrap were much more involved and required close attention to detail. Use the slider in the image below to see a before and after of the project.
Yard sign event promotion
One of Air Ad’s other departments focuses on residential customers. For these clients, I would mainly design yard signs for events like birthday parties. For these designs, I would make vector illustrations and lay them out to be cut out of foam board. Some examples of these residential mockups is featured below.
